That I'n not so worried about. Once people get used to the new way of going home they'll remove that bar in a software update. The notch is the issue. I'd say they'll fix it in a year or two but the way they're instructing devs to make sure it stays an eyesore, I fear it'll become the norm on all future iPhones. The best we can hop for is that a future OS update black-bars the top and keeps it a persistent time/battery/etc area that matches the color of the notch. The physical phone isn't a loss since they can fix it with OS updates. Just depends how willing they are to admit they goofed. (By which I mean introduce the fix as a feature and admit no goof)
