Is this worth learning how to touch type properly if I can already type *this* fast?
>>
Yes.
You can avoid bad movements and lmprove your speed.
Or just can jump straight to steno.

Depends on whether or not you aspire to improve your typing ability and how you intend to utilize it.
>>
DVORAK with all keys ergonomically aligned perfectly or GTFO
>>
touch typing just means not looking at the keyboard
if you're questioning if you should be learning a homerow typing method, it's probably better for rsi to just do blind hunt and pecking like you're doing now
>>
whats the difference between touch typing and normal typing
>>
>>62401895
touch typing IS normal typing
>>
>>62401909
o then i already do that

what the fuck is OP doing? staring at his keyboard and hunting and pecking
>>
>>62401923
apparently
>>
>>62401895
to me, touch typing means using all 10 fingers with proper hand movements, not looking at the keyboard, and >70wpm
>>
>>62401888
>>62401895
think he meant only pressing the keys with enough force for actuation, but not bottoming out the key.
>>
>>62401933
ok then i do that but i line myself up with wasd and i have no idea what im doing with my right hand but it works

i type at 90 to 100 wpm
>>
>>62401931
>>62401923
No, there's a proper method of touch typing
I learned typing from warcraft 3 but never learned the proper form. I usually use most of my fingers but it's not formally though to me.
