How do you feel about this?
If the deal goes through, SK Hynix and Toshiba will together control slightly over 30% of global NAND flash market share, making it a close second after Samsung.

Nah tosihba is near bankrupt with its nuclear plant flop. they need someone to buy the company or it gets delisted and liqaudified.
30% is huge but I think its the only opion to avoid the debt collectors.

With one fewer competitor, the NAND cartel (Samsung, WD/Sandisk, Hynix/Toshiba, Intel-Micron) should be able to the prices even more.
