This is the "industrial" ~$100 setup (with stand & led ring) I'd suggest if you intend to get a good view on electronics or comparably sized objects (+- the smallest stuff you can still reasonably manipulate directly with pincers or such). Other lenses also exist.

Its cheap and not actually very crappy. Though spending $100-300 more will of course still allow significant improvements to the stand & microscope & camera+lens.
