Can I use a capture card like

to stream a live view from my nikon d3300 to my computer and use it as a webcam in obs? I have digicamcontrol which allows me to stream it over usb, but it looks terrible. I'm hoping the mini hdmi cable I have will do better, but onboard hdmi ports are all hdmi out.
