Is it really 2 years ahead of its time? It's larger in size than snapdragons and is completely optimized for the other hardware/software because it only runs ToyOS. It gets a better single core score because they use a shitload of battery and make a lot of heat, which is why they can't just put more cores. Snapdragons always end up beating that years AX processor in multicore score which is the main one that matters. Snapdragons have like 8 cores i think iphones only have 3. Besides the fact that benchmarks literally have no relevance to normal daily usage.

So really is it just that they are running a terrible OS and optimized their shitty hardware to make it get a higher number on benchmarks or did they honestly make groundbreaking discoveries?

I have no skin in this game. I don't own a smartphone. I see nothing about either the iPhone 7 series, the 8 series or the X that is an improvement upon the Samsung S8 or Note 8. In fact, the iPhone X is a step backwards on several levels.

The biggest flaws in Apple products will never go away: 1) The iTunes software is among the worst pieces of bloatware in existence today. 2) The closed Apple ecosystem. 3) The further destruction of individual privacy and liberty with each newly released device.

I simply cannot imagine the degree of ignorance and/or denial one must possess in order to buy an Apple product. They are a company that truly believes it owns you and your rights, and that it is merely allowing you to borrow but not own their equipment and software all for an exorbitant price. Apple is everything that is wrong with big corporations today.
