How did we get here?

not the best for privacy or customizability. not really performance either since the differences are so small its not noticeable unless using a benchmark.

That's a weird way to say Vivaldi, but ok.
Not the fastest
no privacy/anonymity
heaviest on resources
no good extensions
The only good about it is: reliable and secure from malicious intent

vivaldi is a chromium branch for noobs who cant compile their own chromium forks... ROFL
Mozilla went full retard and Microsoft was always a retard.
Because Mozilla imploded and spent what little money they had on blue hair dye instead of programmers.

But I thought open source was capable of correcting Mozilla's retardation. Isn't open source supposed to be a technical meritocracy?

>hogs the most resources of any browser
>invades and sells out your privacy more than any other browser
>is managed by a company of raging SJW men in dresses second to only Mozilla
>offers less options than any other browser

It is that's why there are forks of Firefox. But you already knew that you smug frogposter.
I was using Opera because I liked its minimalism and overall look/feel of that particular browser, but after spending some time on /g/ I installed Iridium and to me it seems that its considerably slower, even if I have 16gb of RAM installed on my system
>inb4 Opera shill
I prefer Chropera even if it's not as good as Presto Opera

Why would anyone use Chrome over Chromium?

Firefox went from "the good guy saving us from Internet Explorer" prior to 2007/2009 to the shit we know today.
