If you use it seldomly you won't need to worry about buying toner anytime soon. I don't think the expire either.

Goddamnit HP, it's either a laser device or it has jets. It can't have both.

Also, the resolution isn't great. If I were you I'd get a phaser 6022 and enable third party toner in their web UI. It's a humble little machine but it gets the job done.

I have the monochrome version of this and it's about the best you can get in its price range. Brother also keeps their software bullshit to a minimum and I rarely notice it's there.

Ditto on the suggestions for a brother. just don't install their software suite and you're gucci.

Yeah, no, the Xerox printer is definitely the better of those two. Bonus points for actual, useful drivers on both microshaft bangblows and gahnoo loonix.
