I'm wondering that too. I can get hackintosh to work on a VM but not on my old thinkpad. I wonder if there's some specific hardware that is supported well on it. It would be amazing to be able to have a non buggy mac OS running in Qemu with GPU pass through. Anyone done this? It was a buggy shit show on virtual box

I doubt you'd ever be able to get gpu passtrough working on osx. Just install osx on a spare hard drive if your hardware is compatible.

with the CPU, probably very easy
with the GPU, i have no idea.
Never had a 380X.
Look around alot and you should find information.
I put Yosemite alongside my pc and it runs great.
I would've gone sierra but my CPU is too old.
