We designed login.gov to transform the way people interact with the federal government online, and plan to roll it out gradually this year. There are currently hundreds of applications spread across government sites that require users to log in.


For fucks sake, they are talking about only US gov, EU countries has those for years now, I can login into any national service of our government using my ID, (SOC number) and 16 digit password, backed with SMS and phonecall.
