Hey, anybody know anything about this monitor?

It has a DB-15 connector on the back, instead of VGA...

I got it with my old computer that I heard was used in the Air Force

I meant to say DA-15...

It uses the same connector as Game Port

No Idea, but apple used to use DA-15 connectors on their kit, perhaps it's an aftermarket Apple compatible display. Fuck all info on that display on the internet as I'm sure you're aware.

Try making a converter and seeing if it comes up.

It's very similar to the IBM AT computer, but it has a different company logo, and a bunch of labels on the case.

You have the monitor, the PC, and presumably, the cables. What exactly did you want to know that could not be answered by typing "DA-15 VGA standard" into a search engine..?
>>
>>62345204
It didn't come with a video card
>>
>>62345213
and from what little info I can find about the cards, is that they're rare and expensive.
>>
>>62345204
not op, but it's also an obscure brand. i searched "xionics" on google and could barely find anything.
>>
>>62345213
Right. So make the adapter I posted in >>62345140, test the monitor on a standard VGA port to make sure it will actually work, then go but an ISA or PCI card off ebay.
>>
>>62345142
>>62345178
>>62345213
Does it have ISA slots inside?
My guess it that it's some proprietary monitor similar to MDA/MGA/CGA/EGA with the rest of the system being a PC compatible, maybe with some more proprietary designs however.
>>
>>62345140
>>62345245
I doubt it's related to Apple. I do not know of PC Compatible video cards that used the same connector.
It's clearly not a licenced Apple clone as it says 386/25.

>>62345255
It's probably VGA. As it's early 90's.
>>
>>62345238
Yeah I know, I went digging as well.
> Fuck all info on that display on the internet as I'm sure you're aware.

>>62345255
Depending on it's function it might have had something custom for graphics heavy rendering, weapons/radar display or something. Kinda intriguing..

This was before OP posted pics of the unit, I had no idea what he had on his desk at that point.
>>
>>62345286
Most likely a proprietary VGA connector with a proprietary graphics card but compatible with VGA.
This shit was not that uncommon to have a company use their own design.

Tell me about it. Pic related. DB-15 COM ports, because medical vendor, so fuck you.
>>
>>62345355
Do I see SCSI and a Ethernet in there? Nice!
Post pics from insides.

Don't you have the monitor cable for it? You might be able to figure out the pinout or if it's actual ISA you just another monitor and video card.
>>
>>62345355
Also post a clean picture of that please, I want to save it into my sexy hardware folder but the red circle triggers me.

Pls tnx.
