I've been into Linux for a few years. I'm not the most advanced user, but I much prefer it to Windows. Anyway, I've been trying to think of what I could do to improve it, or spice it up, as ya call it. Here's my setup
I'm interested in maybe a better music player? Something more minimalistic? I just feel like my desktop is pretty bland, and I'm not sure what is available to install to change that.

move your taskbar to bottom of the screen, all your programs have fuckhuge gtk menu bars and it makes sense that the close button be in the very upper right corner of your screen in a maximized window
