Currently, I am using a stock heatsink, which sounds like a fucking jet engine. Looking for a new one, under $50 or so, that will still allow full sized ram. Recommendations?
Just use the trusted hyper 212 evo. And dont fall for the new meme version of it.

What's your fucking socket, retard?

If the heatsink is anything even close to what is seen in OP picture, yes, it would make one hell of a racket.
Other than that, if they're using a stock Intel cooler, god help their ears also.

Stock AMD cooler, but close.

Most coolers seem to work with any, but AM3+

Alright, I'll go with the hyper 212 evo. It looks like I can add a second fan on the other side. Any recommended brands?

A second fan will not improve temp (it has been tested). The temps of the evo with the one fan is good enough by itself. Although, i suppose two fans are more aesthetic. But you'd need two cpu fan headers or a splitter to run two fan. Either way, any pwm fan is ofc compatible with the evo. I use one of those ring light fans

Good to know. I guess I won't bother getting a second fan, since I don't really care how it looks.

That design looks like it'd get full of dust in two seconds.
Cryorig H7
Same price as a 212 evo but performs slightly better and honestly i think it looks better too

Heatsinks don't make sound dummy
Money is not an issue /g/

You're correct, but considering everyone else understood, you're just being pedantic.

Cryorig H7. Better than the 212.

cryorig H7 quad lumi
more aesthetic than the H7 and performs the same as H5, will clock ryzen to silicon limit

You would not be having this problem if you had bought an AMD cpu with an included wraith cooler.

Oh shut up, he could just be a normie, take your CPU war shit to Any of the threads, both companies can do bankrupt for all i care
>>62338490
Their coolers are bretty good cooling-wise but they're loud as fuck when overclocking. Even a MEMO 212 is slightly quieter in my experience simply due to the larger fan. .
