I really, really like it's aesthetics. It's a cool looking black shiny slab with no logos, which I care about because I'm autistic and hate representing brands with shit I carry around. I also don't care about the widows peak like everyone seems to, see my last response.

The build quality is extremely nice except for weird minor shit (the buttons are wobbly like on every fucking android phone, the plastic connecting the frame to the screen was rough in one spot when I first got it, but it's smoothed out with use). It feels good to hold, and has stood up with no damage to a serious drop already. It charges quickly and has good battery life. I don't give a shit about the camera except to take an occasional picture of information relevant to me, and I own wireless headphones, so the two major complaints leveled against it don't concern me.

All around, it is actually a very good phone. It's probably not worth $700, but I very much like it.

Aside from the fact that the bootloop issue was not consistent enough in the G5/V20 to be put in the same category as previous generations with the issue the G6 has had no sign of the issue present. Plus as an extra precaution LG has a 2 year warranty on the devices as of this year to help encourage people to invest again.

Chances are the V30 will be fine and not suffer the LG curse of the past since the G6 has not and it was not a big issue with last year's models.

Opinion on S8+ size?

I have medium hands. No large hands, but no handlet. Will it stick out of my jeans pockets?

The S8+ has the same width as my Nexus 5X, but longer.

I'm thinking there is a considerable chance Apple will release an a10 iPhone SE 2 next year. They have just started producing SE's in India this summer, and it will be a bi-yearly release cycle.

I absolutely cannot imagine they'd set up a production facility in India to just make a portion of the SE 1's directly in India. They must have more planned to take over that market space.

Also with a rumored $400 MRP for a phone with iPone 7 specs is going to completely destroy the mid segment.

The iPhone SE was a mix between the 6 and 6S, and released after the 6S. If there's an SE2, one would think it would be a mix between the 7 and 7S at minimum, maybe even a mix between the 7S and 8.

As an owner of the 6S, I can tell you that I'd pick up the SE2 so long as it was a decent price. The 6S is a fine phone, but it's a bit large for my tastes.

One of the rumors suggests the SE2 will have a similar price at the least, going for around $400. But that might be a subsidized Indian price.

I've been using cheaper Android phones since my iPhone 4 became unusable, but I still miss the formfactor. I could really use a new phone right now, but if I can get an SE2 early next year its worth the wait.

Should I get an iPhone 5S, an iPhone 6 or an iPhone SE?
The 5S seems fast enough to handle the tasks I need and is fairly cheap, but the iPhone 6 has a bigger and better screen. The SE on the other hand basically crushes both in terms of everything but screen size and resolution.

I know my post was probably relevant in 2009 but I just fucked up my HTC Touch 2 with WinMobile6.5 by clearing some value in registry editor and now the phone won't boot. I don't think I had anything of value in the phone but I'd still like to get it back. Is there any way to get into its internal storage via a computer?
