a new hobby of mine is to make google searches for random things, and seeing how many ads are clicked by adnauseum . Specifically on google search. So far, the google search yielding the highest amount of ads is
"curtains"
It seems like "normie" item searches are the ones with the most ads . Cutlery , Mattress , Ovens , etc..
i assume that people searching for these items might be less tech savvy and more likely to click an ad.
Google now shuts down websites that don't align with their social viewpoints. So something which threatens their profits like adnauseum is going to be fucked over hard.

You'll get the most ads for items that women would search for, and especially items that really stupid women would search for.
Women drive the vast majority of consumer spending. Every advertisement is marketed foremost to women for this reason.

you may be onto something
>>62290446
this
try searching for makeup, bras, maybe yuppie stuff like expensive organic food or vintage hipstery crap like mason jar lights or rooster ornaments or little crystal figurines or something
Just whatever you can think of that women buy but serve no actual purpose beyond cluttering up a home or propping up social status amongst friends

desu this can be a form of research in itself
Start compiling data on what is being advertised the most. We need to start data-mining the data-miners. It'll give us insight.

Isn't your day job supposed to be shilling Microsoft? I don't get it

What's wrong with Ubuntu?
>>62290562
oh shit i didn't even realize i was on that .
i was looking on different versions of google to see if there were different results for ads.
>>62290566
The ubuntu team doesn't make very intelligent strategic decisions
huh , so now that i'm on non indian google curtains are not as advertised.
>>62290613
If you were to somehow automate this and dump everything into a database, you could get some pretty interesting data
Like what sort of things are being advertised to indians but not whites?
Google adsense on point
>>62290548
where do you think those data mining threads come from?
i dont seriously care about what people are using software wise, it's just easy as fuck manip

>Women drive the vast majority of consumer spending. Every advertisement is marketed foremost to women for this reason.
But if this is true, then how come women are sexualized in advertisements? Not trying to be a SJW/feminist, just regurgitating things I've noticed.
>>62290916
who was in the wrong ?
what did he mean by this ?
>>62290493
Do a search for "loans" or "free money" prob get shit tons
>>62290566
Canonical. And Unity.
>>62290934
Because women like it / are not actually bothered by it.
Usually the advertisements imply that the women viewing it are like the women in it. "you're beautiful/sexy/amazing" - or the advertisement will imply flaws "You would be this beautiful/sexy/amazing if you buy our product".
Social justice has nothing to do with advertising. Social justice is a way to control political discourse in society and break apart factions that might otherwise band together against corporate oligopoly taking control of the government. When was the last time you remember the US government breaking apart a monopolist under anti-trust regulations?
>>62290981
strangely enough those bring next to no ads . 1 - 3 ads at most.
>>62291029
Damn. What about porn?
>>62290376
Imagine being this autistic.

>>62290376

what's the name of that addon that does random searches on a bunch of search engines?
>>62291058
that's actually giving me an idea, what kind of ads do autists click on ?
so far this is what i've got for things i would imagine a mentally disabled would search for , and the corresponding ad number.
shiny things / shiny objects = 3
pennies and gum = 7
tasty paint chips = 7
ruined family photos = 3
pinwheel hats = 3
bib with gutters = 6
