Pointless lectures you don't need to attend becacus your Cisco certified lecturers will go through the exact same thing you can find on Cisco's website called "netacad". Sometimes your lecturers will be a cunt and include something related to.your job opportunities during a lecture to keep people from skipping it.

Most of the time, you will play with switches, routers, IOS, Cisco's packet tracer and other bullshit that you could do on your own. Expect a lot of white traah and shitskins in your class. Keep in mind, your "education" is a scam. You could do all of it in 2-3 months, I assume your "college degree" is two or three years? Like I said, it's a scam. When you're done, you will get a shitty job at a help desk (1st line).

Networks are about 5% of a sysadmin job, unless you're in a green field site it will be set up already anyway, and usually 'just werks'

It's much better for companies to get a decent sysadmin with not much Network experience and outsource the networking part to a third party when they need to.

I fell for the Comp Sci meme. I regret it terribly. I spend something like 6 hours a day learning really nothing and just listening to tenured professors rave about ridiculous shit.

It's not a joke that those who can do and those who can't teach. A few of the younger profs were alright but none of them are in the higher courses which are exclusively taught by geriatric autists. I'm being completely serious when I tell you people have begun to sob in some of these classes due to the 'method' or 'style' some of these guys employ.
