It's possible and actually very easy to spoof your (sender) email address and name.
You can use websites like > emkei.cz
The problem is that when the target receives the email it will be filtered out as spam since a lot of people use the website to do that kind of thing.

sudo apt get hacker.kit.exe

blue eyed pepe is a qt
>>
>>62269847
you don't know what you're talking about, there are muliple levels of source verification SPF, DKIM and DMARC which make it impossible to impersonate any respectable domain that apply these protocols
>>
>>62270009

Dude try
> https://emkei.cz/

It works, it just just goes to the spam folder instead of inbox.
>>
>>62270050
of course it will, you can't just send a mail from [email protected] an expect it will land in inbox, it will fail all the protocols tests above
>>
>>62270083
No. Since a lot of people use the website to spam, email services have started to block and mark them.
I've read somewhere that if you set up your own email server you can successfully evade the spam filters and land the email to the target's inbox.

I'm not asking you to tell me how to do it you idiot. I just don't understand what you mean by hacking the mail servers.
Nobody is going to bother hacking a fucking mail server just to send a spoofed email and bypass spam filters.

You want to use a mail server on a shared hosting provider.

This way you get the legitimacy of a dedicated email provider with the ability to shit post / spoof

now, that wasn't so hard, was it /g/ ?
>>
>>62270881
duckduckgo sendmail 4.0 hack. you didn't need elevated priviliges to send a spoofed email.
>>
>>62270960
>You want to use a mail server on a shared hosting provider.
Forgive my idiocy but how exactly do I do that?
