Pretty simple interpretive language that makes churning out quick scripts easy.
Has c bindings so is relatively fast, but don't use it if all you care about is speed.
Better than ruby
shit syntax
shit functionality
meme, but ok community

Incorrect.
Isn't python the language with the jobs with the highest salaries?

Pretty sure it's C++.
Employers jizz when they see a few years of c++ on your resume.
Python is pretty low tier since any IT monkey can do it.
Python is basically the only language ever used in the film industry so if you want to get into holywood or some shit you need the Python.

Helped me get into programming and their Stats and Machine Learning Libraries are incredibly easy to use
Easy Web Frameworks to learn and incredibly easy to script. I love it
on paper, it has been surpassed by numerous other languages
in practice, it's still the absolute best in many domains due to its gargantuan ecosystem of third-party libraries

I like PHP better for CLI. A single exe and one dll at less than 10MB for everything you need. Python is hugely bloated with dozens of modules and dependencies.

I use it on a daily basis and this is coming from a C/C++ background. It is good for quick scripts and other basic tasks such as moving multiple files after processing or messing with a large csv file.
Otherwise it is pretty slow. I like to think it is a "jack of all trades master of none" type of programming language. I also have no idea why python decided to split off from 2 to 3, but I use 2 daily.
Well, it's shit.

Easy to learn, meme and it looks like shitty pseudo code.

It's crap.
After the java monkeys we have the pythin idiots.
It's everywhere and it's unoptimizable.
A total mess.
Do you know how many idiots without a single idea about programming are writing programs for scientific research and always the i.t. responsible is getting all the shit because the server is not fast enough?
