Now we know skeuomorphs are 22% faster, can we finally drop flat UI design?

Knobs are a mistake.

>it's gloss and shine skeuomorphism all over again
Fuck, it's not the kind of skeuomorphism I wished to return.
>>62264504
but its only companies who are pushing flat designs
most users dont give a shit
and the few who do prefer skeuomorphism
A is 22% slower than B ≠ B is 22% faster than A

skeuomorphism is the best interface and you need half a brain to understand that it's faster and easier to interact with shit that mimic objects you recognize irl
just don't overdo-it with gradients and corny textures and we'll all be in a better world

Really.
A is 22% slower than B = B is 28% faster than A

This, the whole "moar gloss, moar glass" of the mid-late 2000s is really not something I would like to see return.
MS at least is starting to move away from the completely flat design, I'm skeptical but from what I've seen so far it looks like a step in the right direction. They aren't abandoning it entirely in things like icons, but they're starting to get rid of the bland UI where everything is just a solid color.

Acrylic is like Aero Glass but not shit

>skeuomorphism for interfaces that don't give haptic feedback.
Just no.
