This will fail horribly
debate me
>Protip : you can't
Of course it will fail. Millennials and gen Z literally do not know the phrase "digital privacy"

Can't you just get a os10 blackberry?
>>62250092
>delivers late
>full of holes
>outdated on launch
Why does this reminds me of Ouya?
>privacy focused phone
>you have to have a baseband processor running proprietary software in a phone
It's a pipe dream, and there's a reason why rms doesn't own one.
>>62250092
Sadly you're right. This is why I simply got rid of my smart phone altogether and got a basic flip phone for receiving calls/text.

>millenials are the problem! except for me of course; although I am a millenial, I am enlightened by my own intelligence

Apparently there will be killswitches for things like that that cut all electricity.
>>62251579
The difference is this will have a kill switch, unlike all other phones which have no such control over the baseband and are constantly connected to cellular network and who knows what else. Except then you don't have cellular connectivity, which means few people will actually utilize it.
Really, the only thing you can do is not use a phone.

Show it to the alex jones audience and i guarantee it will get a following.
>>62251722
That would actually be very smart marketing. RMS has been a guest many times in the past on his show, so that would definitely reach wide audience among the conservative/libertarian prepper demographic. Do the same thing for the liberals/socialists who are scared of Trump in control with the same security apparatus that Obama had, and you could sell these things like hotcakes to both sides.

If your phone isn't running 100% on free software, it isn't really respecting your privacy.
>Really, the only thing you can do is not use a phone.
It's better to not even own one.

Ask them if they will release a model without a baseband chip and only reliant on matrix. They actually respond regularly.
