>tfw another day wasted on /g/ instead of doing something productive tech related
How did you know?
Didn't know you post the exact same garbage here
You should come up with a project that you'll never follow through on to make yourself feel transiently productive.

>tfw my "Python crash course" and "Automate boring stuff with Python" have been sitting on the shelf collecting dust for a month since I bought them and I still haven't started learning it.

>a month
I have books bought new 5 years ago that haven't been moved since I put them on my shelf
I waste a bunch of days watching other people program in streams. The entire time watching Im thinking of all this shit i could be programming and am hyped at hell for plopping down and making some shit.
Then after I load up an ide i lose all enthusiasm and just watch camwhores for a few hours.

Nobody fully understands something complex from scratch.
If the tool is new and recommended by others, give it a try, and use only stuff you are familiar with.

I do something similar when at work. I think of all the great and constructive things I will do today, than after work is done I just sit in front of PC:
