In terms of marketshare, Mac should be easy to overtake if something good that can run on a variety of machines comes along. Essentially an android of desktops would probably surpass macOS in marketshare after a while.

Normies don't buy PCs much, so most of them use whatever comes preinstalled on their cheap phones.

This. The way in which people use computers is changing, and with it the OS will too. When mobile OSs get huge enough and desktop marketshare drops we'll likely see android PCs as well.

GNU/Linux. If we can seperate the terminal from the public image of this operating system, we may attract normies with low-end computers. I'd expect a %10 hike this way.
