These Corsair Magnetic Levitation.
THEY WILL NEVER NEED REPLACING
I BOUGHT THEM, I WILL FUCKING RUN THEM TIL MY PC TURNS TO DUST, BECAUSE I FUCKIGN CAN
and any of you noctua, typhoon overpaying cunts are just stupid.
also buy a fan speed controller, so you can tweak them more.
>>62233988
you gotta the RGB ones for speed, coolness and power saving tho
>>62233988
Then why do they only have a 5 year warranty?
Nice. I could buy 10 decent case fans, or one of those.
>>62234072
so, same as noctua? but this has an actual gimmick?
>>62233988
>THEY WILL NEVER NEED REPLACING
So you're telling me this fan got no moving parts?
>>62234289
Magnets man
It's got magnets
>>62234327
So do HDDs.
>>62234289
Pretty sure all magnetic fans still have some kind of bearing to keep them stable. Corsairs are however overpriced too and not even the first ones to use magnetic fans. Sunon and Enermax have been making magnetic fans for ages.

You're correct.
Brushless induction motors suffer from magnet wearout. Electromech motors suffer from part siezure.
Both techs are sufficienctly advanced that the bearings are the failure point before the drive mechanism fails.
So a "maglev" fan is still ultimately limited by the bearing tech used in the fan, just like any other fan. Also Corsair is an overpriced meme
Or I can just buy a $5 artic12.
