For me, I like my cpu to run close to room temp when under full load to maximize the life of the chip, so I water cool it. I haven't yet found an adequate way to disperse the heat on such a small thing. Further, nothing VR ready will fit that small due entirely to power constraints.

If one or two of my friends built a PC I would consider it.

I see no reason why my home rig should be small, and in portability a mini-itx rig will never beat a laptop, so why bother ?
