YouTube and Vimeo are video websites with lossy files bigger than FLACs, and Soundcloud and Bandcamp only stream 128kbps MP3.
There has to be something better than this predicament! We need a high-quality FOSS streaming service.

Picture attached gets you most of the way there, but there are a ridiculous amount of options to play with beyond that. I am also using "Metro skin v3.5 - flat". I can attach my MusicBee3Settings.ini file if you want? You'll need to add your library again or edit the file manually.

Quod Libet on my PC, AIMP on my phone.
My biggest peeve about AIMP for Android however is the lack of support for .m4a files (like the kind produced by NewPipe).
iTunes with Apple Music subscription. It gets hate, but it works very well for me and doesn't have Spotify's abortion of an Electron UI. I can just search for what I want to listen to instead of needing to seek out a torrent.
I mostly don't download MP3s/FLACs anymore. If I do want to listen to a song without itunes, I use Vox.
Used f2k for years but I'm happy with musicbee now
