Ungoogled Chromium/Iridium is better than Brave and Mozilla SJWFox
Admit it
It's true
>>62211991
Sure, but Waterfox is on par with Iridium and UGChromium.
>>62212003
Exactly
You're a fine man
let's fuck
nohomo
>>62212003
What’s even the point of using waterfox? Isn’t it irrelevant?
>>62212049
It's firefox without tracking and also optimized for 64 bit computers making it much more faster
>>62211991
I don't. I legit tried Chromium. A single tab being open ate up more resources than 5 FF tabs being open. Thing is a resource hog.
>>62212003
Does waterfox have a repo? I want it to just hit my update manager when it updates.
>>62212049
It's firefox minus the autism
>>62211991
too bad every UGChromium browser alternative has shitty UI. Literally all that has to be done was remove the google shit / tracking shit that bloats it and then keep everything else. But, every faggot dev and their mother thinks they need a custom UI to feel special, and even worse, reorganize structure / layout of important settings pages. Go ahead and add shit but do not fix things that arent broken. Reinventing the wheel is such a waste of time. At least skinfags don't even waste their time going that far.
if any of you want to spoonfeed me or point me in the right direction of something like this, please tell me. I am desperate for an alternative to goolag that doesnt look like trash
i think someone maintains ppa also its on aur. on other distros it has built in updater
>>62212049
its firefox without sjws
>>62212234
I found an unoffical repo. I'll give it a shot.
>>62211991
getting rid of the google spyware doesn't make it a good browser. it doesn't have the customization options firefox has, so it's useless for me.
>>62212126
regular firefox has had 64bit builds for years. waterfox is a meme.
>>62212126
all testing shows that the 64 bit optimization makes it run worse, though. and you can disable tracking in Firefox so fucking easily so the fork seems pointless as shit.
>>62212230
Ungoogled Chromium has no UI adjustments, though.
Thoughts on Vivaldi?
Trying waterfox. How to I keep that search dropdown from popping up every time I click on the address bar?
>>62212273
UI is shit

>He uses browsers maintained by a single NEET.
Why is waterfox more resource intensive on Linux? I have 6 tabs open in FF at the moment, using 512 MiB. 3 tabs open in Waterfox using 542 MiB.
>>62212273
I like it, but I don't use it to its full potential because I'm a brainlet.
>>62212450
>he watches anime about autistic witch
>>62212497
So what's the reasoning behind the memory difference?
i've had it with SJWfox, after this latest update the whole browser freezes whenever i open a group of tabs
please recommend me a different browser
no chrome cuz thats worse
Test
>>62212003
Does waterfox run as shit-tier as Firefox does?
>>62211991
No passeord save/sync
After messing around in the about:config, and surfing around for a while. Can't really tell the difference. Pretty much the same shit, only "legacy" has been replaced with "full" in the about:addons page.
>>62211991
>calling it SJWFox after Google's gone full cuck tranny
>>62212597
just go back a version
>>62212763
what?
>>62213210
Firefox runs like shit on my hardware, always has (good hardware) but chrome and it's forks all run fine.
>>62213227
I'm the opposite. Chromium stuff is a fucking beast on my rigs.
