Certs/Degrees, whichever way you go, they don't really mean shit anymore. These days, it's all about "Who you know" that's on the inside with clout. That's only way you'll get your foot in the door. Sadly that's just the way it is. Now if it was late 90's/early 00's then it'd be different, just having a few Certs would get you a decent gig, maybe not glamorous/high paying,but least you'd be an honest IT person.
