Is there truly a reason for Firefox to run like hot garbage on macOS?
It doesn't matter what build I use, profile, addon configuration, or about:config settings; it runs like trash.
I really don't want to go back to Chrom* and Safari is laughable at best with its lack of addon support.

OP, try Waterfox. Runs a hell of a lot better than Firefox and it's botnet-free but still based off of Firefox, and feels a lot better in general IMO. I like it alot.

I run win10 and Firefox runs like shut for me too. The only thing I use Firefox for nowadays is downloading jewtube videos before they get shoah'd. I've been playing with brave and so far I really like it. not sure of its available on MacOS but if it is, give it a go
