Weren't there someone who recently made a similar product where it printed a still image and then stored the video/animation on a website, so when the image was recognized by a phone, it showed the video transformed to the area of the printed image?
That seemed a bit more useful and the botnet aspects could easily be eliminated by setting up your own server or storing images locally.
