It is incredibly useful in so many applications, where the right ctrl and right shift is much less useful.
Correcting a typo can be done by pressing left, menu, down and enter.
Compared to ctrl+backspace and retyping or moving the mouse and clicking through it, this is not even a close competition to what is best.

I said the opposite of that, ANSI users should be using both shifts but they often don't because they don't type properly and end up relying on the left shift - ISO users could use both shifts but the left shift is retarded and the rest of the keyboard is designed around this leading to the sole use of the right shift, " is on the 2 key on ISO which only makes sense if you use the right shift

there's a reason ANSI keyboards are popular in Europe and it's not because ANSI makes a good international layout
