Should I continue with python or should I jump ship? I would like to learn a new language... Starting to get tiered of the ugly nesting in python. I've been considering getting into c++, if I end up doing c++ I can write the backend stuff with it and do everything else like modding and shit using python?

where do you learn python where to begin ?

I read the docs, that's a pretty easy and clean way of doing it.

right tool for the right job. I understood C a lot better and grasped pointers after coming back from Python.

Ok, I noticed that I became alot more proficient at programming after starting with python. Grasped the full extent of OOP, which I feel is kinda wicked seeing that I've pretty much only done wed dev... I'll look into what the university i'll go to uses in the computer engineering field. if they do c/c++ all start jumping into it right now. Just hope i'm able to avoid java..

Rust
Sometimes, you don't need to nest conditionals.while True:
do_something()
if condition():
break
if another_condition():
break
if another_condition():
break
process_valid_data()
break
And try to keep your functions small, breaking them into specialized functions.

Python is important if you want data science/financial field or script for programs like Maya. Great at analyzing numbers but horrible syntaxes since it's not static typed. C++ best all around and Java is easiest to find a job with. Depends on what field you want
