Why do people continue to use inferior antivirus solutions when it's all there in the fucking statistics!
Bitdefender blocks most of the threats without too many false-positives.

They also have a really nice Linux disk recovery live usb
I forgot to say that it's also based in Romania which has good privacy laws. So no botnet, spyware bullshit.
Banks and big corporations use symantec.

They really shouldn't though.
I read somewhere that Seagate uses McAfee and I kek'd.
Corporations aren't as bright as we think they are sometimes.

It wanted me to uninstall Malwarebytes. No thanks.
>>62152552
That's because Bitdefender can also handle malware at the same time.

>Romania which has good privacy laws
They have no privacy laws at all, not 'good laws', that's why there's no spyware.

I didn't quite catch that.
Care to explain?
>using antivirus
>using Windows

I'm part of a major Symantec partner/reseller.
They took months to release updated when win10 came out.
Their encryption product is a joke, literally bricked surfacebooks until they released a fix.
They have no on-premise definitions host, you need to go to their servers.
They upload file samples of any suspicious files, and I don't mean only hashes, with no opt-out, for an Enterprise product that's despicable.
Their support is actually a running joke, their "English" support team is a randomly compiled group of their Portuguese, Hindi and Mandarin support teams who are deemed 'fluent', they genuinely told us this on a sales pitch at their Irish headquarters. (p.s. they're not fluent)
On the same visit they had 32 calls waiting in their Portuguese language queue while the Brazilians chatted about football, the account manager didn't bat an eye at that one despite the big red '32 CALLS IN QUEUE' and nobody being on the phone.
Their security is a joke, I mentioned our account managers first name and they let me into their employee area, the floor manager swiped me into their completely shielded research department room, without taking my phone or laptop off me, their research team is also a joke, they all follow step-by-step guides written by the stuxnet white paper team and hope for the best.
Ask me anything about why Symantec is shit.
