they are going against the open standards and protocols of a open ecosystem
they break components and want a monopoly

people like them are the reason why we see so much fractions with OEM android implementation

if everyone shipped vanilla AOSP we wouldnt need LineageOS but now it looks to be our last hope with TWP recovery and Magisk with F-droid

its not a fork of android but it does deviate from the input layer in a non open environment which prevents a lot of inconsistancies for devs and also the modding community
