Plenty of people sitting on mobos/cpus demanding 100w each. Some GPUs pull over 250, especially when overclocking that/CPU, plus drives/fans plus 20% headroom for muh efficiency. I've got a 650w and I'd say that's more than enough for any reasonable gayman rig.
