Microsoft makes shitty products like Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer/Edge, Bing, Cortana, Windows Phone, and others that have superior alternatives.
Out of those products, only the first two are dominant. Windows and Microsoft Office are inferior to Linux and Libreoffice, but are dominant because of marketing reasons.
If it wasn't for those, Microsoft would be irrelevant in tech*.
The next time you're thinking "Microsoft supports this practice should it must be good" keep this post in mind.
