People should be free to associate with whoever they want, and that includes private business, but multinational conglomerates wielding the power of entire governments being able to do an end-run around laws restricting government overreach seems like an obvious attempt at exploiting a loophole in current laws.

Some of the bigger anti-censorship Youtubers have started double-uploading onto BitChute. Seems like it could be a pretty solid platform with enough users. It uses a mix of centralized and decentralized (P2) video sharing. I think the more popular/more viewers the video has, the more it relies on P2P to watch it, so very popular videos basically cost BitChute nothing to serve up.

It's on you to create alternatives that are less restrictive then and entice people to come to your platform. There's nothing you can do to Google, in a legislative sense, that wouldn't be considered censorship in it's own right. Your user base will have to develop organically.

I personally like Google, they provide a good service and while I have some privacy concerns it's not at a level yet where I feel like it's worth abandoning the service. Sorry but don't expect any help from me.
