It's very hard to move onto anything else once you've used Vegas for a while.
Most other editing software feels clunky compared to it.

I moved from Vegas to Premiere Pro years ago and I haven't looked back. Not that difficult to start using, couple of youtube tutorials and you'll get it fairly quick
