Why don't they just boost production?

It's crazy, a card comes out, it costs 270€ (RX480 around launch in retail).
A few weeks later it's gone, suddenly all the second hand prices and retail prices have gone from 270€ to 370€ for the same fucking thing and stay there until a new card comes out and then it all repeats, not only repeats, but the old card will still stay way more expensive for several years to come then it actually was at the beginning.
