Your post is deeper on more levels than you might think. However, a mom or any other human unit is just like an organic dishwasher~ not an expansion of the capabilities into uncharted dimension. A human unit could be easily called a dishwasher without generating any confusion, as in the case of a job title.

A dishwasher could just be said to be a faster human á la horsepower as a measurement of the capability of an engine. However what VIM is to computing virtually using electricity to represent information doesn't appear to have a parallel for this process in terms of dishwashing (or many other physical matters, as I want to draw attention to). As pure speculation, perhaps a VIM to dishwashing would be planning and utilizing less dishes to solve the problem obliquely

this of course
A regular dishwasher?
First I open the thing, which puts me insert mode.
Then I put my dishes in there, then exit insert mode by closing it.
Then I enter my desired command using individual keys and not key combinations.
A better question would be what is the EMACS of a dishwasher.
Do I keep the door halfway open so I can C-x M-c M-wash?

I think you misunderstood.
You're supposed to just put the VIM *IN* whatever dishwasher you already have.
