> Is gaming at 21:9 and having increased immersion a meme?
Buy one, they're great.

Good luck getting pwned by dudes using 4:3.
I have a PG348Q
It's alright. I think it's kind of a meme when a lot of the games I play don't even support my resolution.
Also, most movies are 21:9 cropped in a 16:9 window so unless you zoom in you'll just have a little tiny 21:9 window with a ton of black space around it. And once you zoom, the resolution is garbage.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever read

I'd consider getting one but that goddamn base looks so garish.

Easy fix for that, use split display mode and emulate 2 4:3 monitors.
I bought an LG ultrawide a few months ago and iI love it, I'm thinking about buying another and putting it on top of this one. I've used all different kinds of screens like the old CRTs which were so awesome.

I also have a PG348 and agree with this dude.
I watch anime with SVP and it's kinda okay as SVP fills out the sides and I've stopped caring to be honest, I got used to it. However, games are really annoying. Some games "support" the resolution and then completely scale in a wrong way, mostly CAPCOM games.

Legitimate question if you are considering that do you regret not going with one big 4k monitor?
