Rate non-managing IT proffessions. Here's my opinion:
God tier:
Malware Reverse Engineer, Hardware architect, Algorithm developer, Kernel/OS Engineer, R&D
High tier:
Security researcher, Data Scientist, Backend developer, low-level developer, Devops, Full Stack Developer, BI consultant
Mid tier:
Sysadmin, Netadmin, Mobile/frontend web developer, SOC analyst
Low tier:
PC/Networking technician, Helpdesk, NOC/Operations, QA, Webmaster
Shit tier:
Sales, Tech support for a specific company's product/application, PC shop clerk, Indian outsourced slave

Just curious, whats the difference between R&D and a data scientist?
>>62086996
>web developer same tier as sysadmin
>>62087033
Why do you think this is wrong?
>>62086996
move BI consultant to mid tier and i agree. not sure what a "malware reverse engineer" is though. isn't it the same as a security researcher?
>>62087064
It's low-level reverse engineering of malware. Security researchers are pentesters and consultants. Mostly. The rest are real researchers who sell zerodays.

Hahahahahahaha im bigger/stronger/smarter than both these street shitters. Who else god tier /fit/lit/g/k/ here?

nice inferiority complex faggot, you're only missing /sci/ and a self tested iq of 150
>>62086996
R&D is really hit or miss. I'd call it mid-tier on average. It could be God-tier if you like the specific project, but most of the time it's some half-cocked corporate vapoware you'll spend the better part of three fiscal years proving is a really bad idea before you get reassigned.
>>62087177
Checked. You wish I had an inferiority complex you double nigger.
