Safari, of course.
Superfast, has machine learning to remove tracking, adblocking compiles to JS bytecode, uses the least amount of RAM, uses the least amount of power, has plenty of extensions, private.

It's a perfect browser! It's actually one of the reasons why I made Hackintosh.

>>
>>62084955

Who cares? I don't. All the sites work on it because EVERYONE tests in Safari. Plus all the devs use MBPs.

> plus its Apple.
I'd say thats a positive.

>Also for adblocking just install uBlock Origin into whatever browser you are using
Sure, but that's too slow. Safari's content blocker is MUCH faster since it's just compiled JS bytecode.

OP here is a paranois person, so surely a closed source browser ain't cut for him. Also, I don't trust Safari any more than I do Edge.

Yeah, its content blocking might be faster but a third party extension gives more fine controls and blocks ALL ads, not just the ones Apple deems obstrusive.

Retard, iOS is the #1 mobile platform in the US. It's also the most influential one since all the wealthy people use it. It's why Google pays Apple BILLIONS of dollars every year to have Google Search as the default search engine.

Safari's the most tested browser around.
>>

Damn OP, calm down.
Look, everyone single browser made by a giant company is going to collect DATA on you and if you think that the NSA/FBI/CIA doesn't already have a file on you, you're a dumbshit. IT all boils down to whether or not you're a threat. Likely, you're posting on 4chan, they laugh at your stupid shit. They see you losing it about browsers and laugh cause they know there's nothing you can do.
The reason DATA MINING is a good thing is to better products. These companies don't care about what porn you watch or what animu you watch or your waifu.

IF you are on Facebook, get FB purity. (and below)
IF You're browsing the web casually like everyone else, just get ublock.

Seriously op, just get one of them, you're fine. You're not off the grid, you're not going to get busted for loli porn, nothing.

Actually this. But it has some annoying "features". Selecting a word and searching it via context menu opens new tabs in several windows. Tab order is still inconsistent with Chrome behaviour (tab stacking especially messes it up). A few times it just outright closed on me with much less tabs than what I hoarded in Chrome.

Then it eventually just didn't reopen a window where I was eyeing DIY shit. That's usually the point where I stop using a browser and forget about it forever, but I decided to give it another chance and got Session Buddy extension that helped when Chrome had issues.

And the reason data mining is a BAD thing is that with the increasing number of organizations involved in it, the likelihood also increases that there will be a leakage of information as a monetary scheme to exchange money and information with private parties who would use that information to blackmail/defame and otherwise harm individuals to whom that information pertains, such as competitive colleagues in various businesses. At least the government organizations have some form of leash and blowback if they fuck up, Mozilla as a private company doesn't.
