My $15 Viltrox vx-10 Peak Design Capture Clip knockoff came in today. Works well and feels good. Made a safety tether that also functions as a wrist strap out of paracord in case it fails, which I doubt. Only complaint is that my backpack strap is kind of thick though so I had to compress it a bit before tightening the clip.

Not really difficult or slow though. Apply gel or whatever, cut, rinse face & DE razor, done.

It'll also generally be sharper. If at some point the blade is dull at all, you just toss it - a pack of 100 Astra Superior Platinum is like $10 - 15 and there are even cheaper blades. nothing to worry about.

Sure, with rotary blades it matters a bit less, but you can't shave exactly as cleanly.

I like the circular blades on my Philishave, though I must add that the models with the lower end heads suck if you got a strong beard.

I don't know what would be different on "higher end" Philips heads. For me, this was just all nonsense (tried like 4 generations of heads or something that one time) with always newer, always pricier original heads.

If there were improvements, they seemed minuscule to me and probably mostly the motors on the shavers.

And I had problem with Proglide Gillettes myself - the blades are sharp but my hairs clogged them near immediately, and then that got dull and misarranged quickly. Mach3 work better, but even that wasn't perfect.

Using a DE razor was ultimately simpler, so I just stuck with that.

I guess it differs for skin & beard type.

For me with my steel like beard hair it's the super lift & cut heads (the HQ09) only found on the more expensive models (usually on models above $99) that work well, the normal ones on the cheaper models don't shave well.

I have to add though that the new models with the heads that look like they're floating on a stick above the body suck as well.

I used the Gillette Sensor Excel in the past but I went through blades so fast that buying a Philishave ended up being cheaper which I used for years without having to change the heads.
The only reason I had to buy a new one was because the battery died.

I review SBCs on YT. I get all the latest SBCs for free and have reviewed a lot of them.

The only ones I'd pay my own money for are RasPi2/3/ZeroW, Thinker Board and LattePanda. Rest is just unsupported junk.

Don't fall for these bullshit spec charts. I don't even look at them. I just do tests when I do reviews and ignore all that marketing bullshit.

From my experience, the number one issue is support. Other than RasPi, none of the other ARM SBCs work out of the box. Some even I couldn't get working. I spent like 2-3 days trying to get one working and in the end gave up. Even the manufacturer ignored my questions.
