Node vs Golang for medium sized project developed by one person?
I know them both fairly well, I use Python mainly in work, but I want something new, more performant & maintainable in my sideproject
Swift, you fag!

It's for web project, apple fag
Either are maintainable (Python too) as long as you stick to a clear style. Performance depends on size but I'd imagine the difference is material only at a much larger scale. I'd go with Node personally, but if you want type safety Go.

hmmm, tough choice

Node if you hate others.
Go if you hate yourself.

could you elaborate?
golang was developed because google devs found other languages too hard, so yeah you'll probably find that quite easy to do whatever shit you're looking for
