Is it finally the time to upgrade?
>>62069840
Forced updates was the only good thing about Windows 10.
And all they had to do was make them a little less obnoxious.
>>62069944
Yup background updates without restarts
>>62069840
Already switched to Linux. It's over for Microsoft. They're finished.
I dual boot TempleOS. Intel is done, too. All these jesters are going to fall, and the true God King will emerge.
>>62069840
>we stop forcing updates
>whoops we are gonna do it anyway :^)
>
Why can't google act the same when there is a complain against them? Is Microsoft too soft nowadays?
>>62069840
If you had read the article, you would know that MS won't automatically download Win10 install files onto Win7 computers anymore. Nothing else has been said.
>Is it finally the time to upgrade?
Already move to Windows 10 since a long time. OS X and Linux is pure shit.
>>62069840
Forcing updates was the best thing to happen to normie retards.
Wait. You can disable the update service. Why the hype?
>>62069840
Will this be happening with the fall creators update?
>>62069840
>Microsoft has now pledged it will never again forcibly download installation files of a new operating system on users’ computers.
>microsoft has pledged to never forcibly download a new OS installation upgrade
>windows 10 is the last version of windows
rly maeks u think...
>>62069840
>microsoft pledges to stop doing something it already stopped doing since the offer expired
really fires my neurons..
>>62070319
Except that's not true anon. Pic related
>he doesn't use LTSB
>http
Kek. Someone paste the content of the article here. Fuck off with your unencrypted bullshit.
>>62069840
Ah, OS updates like from 7 to 10, not security updates and updates in general, right?
>>62070472
That's only for the original 2015 RTM release and devices running the 2015 RTM version.
A new version of Windows comes out almost each year now and gets 10 years of support.
That page is essentially meaningless now.
>>62070609
First of all, that insult could've used some work. Second of all the pain and humiliation I feel daily are immense; for someone like you to.. cut someone like me deeper, well, heh, you must have problems yourself buddy so I feel bad for you and HOW FUCKING DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME. I'M GONNA MAKE YOU REGRET THOSE GOD DAMN WORDS
>>62070337
This is windows 10 patches, not the OS itself, fucking idiot.
i've never had an update forced on me in the last 2 years, how does one manage to get updates forced on them?
>>62069970
Not possible with NT
>>62070951
Learn to read moron.
>>62069973
I agree, looking at the state of affairs with Windows is like growing farther apart with an old friend. He was cool once and had your back when you needed him, but now he's just a dick towards everybody and when they try to make amends you know they're not being sincere.
>>62069840
It's weird what you miss when you've been using LTSB the whole time
>>62073192
LTSB has been breddy gud. Ironically, had a small hiccup in that LTSB 2015 didn't get drivers from nvidia for 10 series, so had to upgrade to 2016, but other than that, it's like a modernized version of 7.
