Your brain is dead. Kodi still works just fine. I use it everyday on one device or another, across almost every available platform (no MacOS).

the big kodi addon sources(TVADDONS.AG) got taken down and some devs abonded their addons after that

if you use torrents and local files, it's of course still "alive", but most people use Kodi for streaming anyway
