No. I need a laptop that is fast and can run 3 different OS'. Host, Linux and Whonix. That cannot be done with "any" laptop, I'm not going to wait 13 days for something to download, install, execute.

debian is a pain in the ass to do any kind of hardening on: https://wiki.debian.org/Hardening
compared to setting a hardened profile or just putting -fstack-protector-strong etc in make.conf
debian also uses binary package distributions, which are less customed to your needs, and often are less secure then versions build yourself from source

I sincerely hope you get a good laptop. A thinkpad x220 is known to be able to load OSX, albiet not stable.

Also look into fedora-labs : security, or black arch. Kali linux is great, but I think black arch has more to offer in terms or precompiled tools. Its just that it uses python 3 (as default) and system D, which you can replace easily, because arch.
