Ungoogled Chromium vs Pale Moon
Which one is better and why? For speed and privacy/security. I'm trying out both right now and not sure which one I like better.
>>
Firefox
>>
Qutebrowser
>>
Download icecat binaries and compile it in your machine. Don`t trust anything you can`t compile yourself.
>>
>>62054965
How do I install 4chan-x on Qutebrowser?
>>
>>62054607
use Pale Moon OP, ignore these faggots.
>>
>>62055046
you cant

qutebrowser is pretty great, but unfortunately it's extremely lacking in addons/extensions/etc.

it has userscript support but it's completely incompatible with much of the ones utilized in greasemonkey and such
>>
>>62054960
Botnet
>>
>>62054969
Can you tell me how to do this on Mac? And it'll work for the latest 52.1.0 release right?

nigger Waterfox is just 64-bit Firefox, but since there already is 64-bit Firefox it's just useless.
Pale Moon is the only FF branch that doesn't run like molasses.
>>
The masterrace is obviously Sleipnir
>>
>>62055347
Disassemble the binaries, transpile it to C, check for botnets, then throw it into gcc and browse safely.
>>
>>62054607

why one?
use two

Pale Moon

List one thing wrong with Ungoogled Chromium
>>
>>62055432
>he doesn't know Sleipnir, god's greatest gift to man
It was made by the Japanese, as such, it's the best browser available
>>
>>62055473
It's not Perfect Gentleman's custom Chromium ebuild with the Inox patchset, acquired via USE=inox
>>
Yandex browser. Not linked to google or ms is what all that matters.
>>
>>62054607
Both are reliable and fast. No privacy issues either. ungoogled-chromium should be faster but it doesn't auto-update.

See what is better for you
>>
>>62055473
Still comes with 3 unremovable extensions that have permission to track basically everything
>>
>>62055943
>trade american botnet for russian botnet
Will you two just nuke each other already?
>>
>>62055046
Some anon was working on Greasemonkey-support recently. Unfortunately I can't review it right now because I'm focused on exams and then the new config will land (probably causing conflicts), but if he keeps his promise and updates it once that's done, that shouldn't be too far away (at least the 4chan-x features which don't need cross-origin requests).

Iridium browser?

Am I the only one who doesn't want to switch browsers because I'd (1)have to figure out all my passwords for every site I use and (2) input all passwords for every site I use?

How shit does your experience with Firefox has to be to ever consider using Palemoon or Chromium
>>
>>62057572
Yeah but you can disable them in incognito and set browser to always open incognito

This shit has a backdoor in it i can't believe /g/ is actually using it

ungoogled is a student project which isn't recommended to be used besides research.

It's not meant to be put into production, and it isn't funded.

This.
Nightly is fast as fugg.
>>
>>62058617
I do the same thing.

I use FF nightly on mobile and desktop and it syncs bookmarks/logins seamlessly.

You can also host a sync server locally if you want privacy of data.
>>
>>62054607
Just use Firefox. It's the only major browser that's free.
>>
Chromium can't be ungoogled. That's why brave is shit too. Meme shit that is.
