How's the battery life on your idea pad?

I get 5 hours running a heavy workload. I am impressed by the consistent battery life. The laptop also stays cool under heavy workload. The fans are not loud and the build quality also compares near high end thinkpads.

The issue I have with my ideapad is that it can hold 16gig DDR4 RAM max. This present a problem when I am working on a software project and it involves machine learning.

For the average computer science student I do believe this laptop is more then enough

I have a g50-80, one of its predecessors and it is bendy, keyboard flexy, and all around shit build wise. Also 15.6"@1366x768 is fucking cancer.
