It will probably be a good replacement for torrents when they become unusable by the dmca's and the like's.
Is Freenet safe? I use Tor a lot and have been interested in Freenet and I2P, but I'm a bit scared of the possibility of being deanonymized as they haven't had the same scrutiny as Tor. Thoughts?

Years ago downloading pictures and videos was torture, it took me about a month to download 10GB. I think that was back in 2010. Now everything is so much faster and there's also much more content since Tor was compromised back in 2013. It's pretty good in that regard.
